what is compassion?
When a living being is suffering, the helping mind arises for that living being, and the act of helping that living being out of that merciful mind is the compassion of life. That act is worship of God.
Living beings in the world suffer from many kinds of suffering.
For example: hunger, thirst, illness, desire, poverty, fear, and killing
Helping living beings to recover from that suffering is the act of compassion.
The name for helping other living beings in this way is worship of God.
